Summary: The Mayflower Park is a lovely old hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. We had a great stay with everything meeting our high expectations. The staff, including the valets, was exceptional.

Summary: Nice hotel - met our needs. We had a very small room, but we didn't need much more than that, luckily. Housekeeping services available every day, which was a nice extra touch. The bathroom was definitely very small, especially the shower. I couldn't stand normally in the shower (facing the water) without my feet going up on the side; it was very narrow. Also, the water pressure was horrible! Please note that parking a car here is an extra $90/day so figure that in to your budget! Good location - only about 4 blocks from Pike Place Market and only 2 1/2 blocks to the Light Rail, which was good for us, since we only had a car for one night. The staff were very friendly!

Summary: Not a safe area. Arriving in Seattle, we were greeted by its signature rain. I was looking forward to exploring the city and heading out to a nice restaurant despite the weather. When we asked the hotel for an umbrella, we were told that none were available because many guests don’t return them. I found this response quite disappointing and somewhat dismissive. For a hotel, it would be far more appropriate to offer a solution—such as lending umbrellas with a deposit—rather than simply turning guests away.
